When Robert Trent Jones Sr. embarked on Los Naranjos Golf Club, he had several golf courses in the area under his belt. That is why, as soon as one enters this course, one senses a very relaxed atmosphere. He chose a 70-hectare plot of land and transformed it into a golf course governed by a spectacular nature that brings difficulty to the game without losing the fun.
Los Naranjos Trophy 2023 is a tournament with a presence of 52% of Swedes, 22% of Finns, 18% of English, 4% of Russians, and 2% of Spaniards, among other nationalities. It is the perfect time to enjoy international golfers and breathe an air of multiculturalism.

Los Naranjos Golf Club hosts this year (2023) the 29th edition of the most popular and awaited tournament: Los Naranjos Trophy. It lasts four days and players from all over the world, both men and women, participate.
The experience includes a welcome dinner with live music, a warm-up round, and four days in medal play format. There will also be daily awards with cocktails and a party, as well as a gala dinner with the awards ceremony and a musical show. All this is open to amateur golfers with a minimum age of 20 years.
The passion for golf generates such a pleasant atmosphere at Los Naranjos Trophy 2023 that demand is overflowing. Before starting, there is a two-month waiting list.
Calendar of activities for Los Naranjos Trophy: from April 30 to May 4
The Los Naranjos Trophy 2023 schedule begins on April 30. On this date, the golf course will be closed so that the tournament participants can start training from eight in the morning. At 6:30 p.m. there is a welcome drink and at 7:00 p.m. a dinner with live music at the Hacienda Los Naranjos Restaurant.
The first three days of the tournament (May 1, 2, and 3) follow a similar program. The first tee-off is at 8:00 from tee 1, ladies from tees 50 and men from tees 61. The starting order is according to the handicap. Players start with the lowest handicap and there is a nine-minute interval. To liven up the event and rest the muscles, from 14:30 to 19:00 the restaurant’s terrace starts its live music session. You can enjoy a glass of wine and tapas with exotic flavors. As a culmination, at 19:00 the awards ceremony of the day will take place.
The fourth day is when some parameters change. The first tee-off is at 8:30 from tee 1 and 10: ladies from tees 50 and men from tees 61. In this case, the starting order is not governed by the handicap but by the results. To celebrate the end of the last round, at 20:30 a welcome drink is handed out, an exquisite gastronomy is tasted at the gala dinner in Momento Marbella and the final prize-giving ceremony takes place. Every year the excitement overflows the meeting and everyone congratulates each other for the effort made.
