The role of women in the world of golf has always been important to Los Naranjos GC. Proof of this is the league that is held there every summer, the Ladies Summer League. This year, the league that has lasted just over a month, has once again increased its participation compared to the previous year.
Women play a very important role in golf and Los Naranjos GC has always been committed to them. The recent Ladies Summer League held from June 22 to July 27 has once again reached its participation record. There have been 34 ladies who have had the pleasure of fighting on the field every Wednesday, compared to 28 players in 2015.
On the last Wednesday in July, the 27th, the grand final was held. The winners were:
Annelie Andersson, with 120 points.
Gabriella Lindstrom, with 112 points.
Sandra Bramley, with 108 points.
The general classification for the final of Ladies Summer League, a minimum requirement of participation in at least 3 tests of the total of the league has been demanded. The 3 best rounds have been the determining factors to proclaim these three champions of the Ladies Summer League 2016.
There is no doubt that without the invaluable collaboration of our sponsors, such a league would have been impossible. The sponsoring companies throughout the league have been: Holiday Golf, Fairway and Blue, The Wellness Studio and Uniquex Properties.
The companies that have collaborated in the final: Noelia Thames Jewelry and El Gaucho Restaurant. In addition, each of the Ladies of the Ladies Summer League has a 10% discount at El Gaucho and at Noelia Thames Jewelry. The grand finale held a farewell party at the Los Naranjos restaurant, where the prizes were presented and the best cuisine was enjoyed and, of course, live music. A closing party that the Ladies will never forget and that promises a great success for the next league next year.
Ladies Summer League has been presented this year in Individual Stableford mode. The price of the green fee has been € 39 and the buggy € 28. There has always been a distribution of prizes every week, after each day, this time, on Wednesdays.
