Transform your training into a fun experience
Going to the practice range can become a fun and enjoyable experience. Although it is true that for most golfers this is the part of the sport that excites us the least, we know that it is essential if we want to improve, or at least maintain our level. Los Naranjos golf, aware of this dichotomy, has put at our disposal a very complete practice area equipped with all the necessary tools to achieve all the objectives of our training, both in the long and short game.
Long game
The driving range has an artificial teeline with 10 positions. The difference is that it holds 7 different greens where players can improve their precision in shooting to the flag from different distances. Another great convenience is that the ball machine works with any credit card, thus avoiding the step of buying chips and giving us the possibility of replenishing balls as many times as we want without leaving the practice area. The maximum distance at which it is possible to shoot is 280 meters.
There are also two private studios equipped with the trackman system. In charge of them are excellent professionals, who put at our disposal the most cutting-edge technology to know and measure our distances, angles of attack, club speed and all the data aimed to facilitate our improvement. One of the studios also has a fitting center equipped with the famous brand Callaway Golf.
Short game
The chipping area is located between the driving range and the putting green, with an uneven green that allows us to find our approach rhythm before going out to play. The bunker completes the space offering us the possibility of practicing on the same type and consistency of sand as the one on the course.
The putting green is the most visited area, it has gradients and speed similar to those of the course. It has a unique charm, Its views on the green of the emblematic 18th hole and the tee of the tenth hole, both inviting us to enjoy a round on this magnificent course. One of the best moments in this area was during the Andalucía Costa del Sol Ladies Spanish Open, with the presence of the best European professional golfers.
The bar completes the entire practice area. Located slightly above the practice area, enhancing the views of the second nine holes of the course. There we can take a break in our training and reflect on those points that we should focus more on, while having a coffee, a soft drink or a snack.
Exclusive area for members
There is an exclusive practice area dedicated only to members. It is located on the other side of the driving range and has 6 places on natural grass and a teeline for winter. It also has a putting green and a chipping area with a bunker, as well as a structure with two individual stands on artificial grass.
Los Naranjos practice range is open to the public and reservations are not required. The only limitation is the availability of the practice places. Its opening hours are: from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. except on Tuesdays, when it opens at 9:00 a.m. Of course, all schedules are subject to change depending on the hours of sunshine. The price is €7 for 36 balls.
