A total of <strong>250 guests attended the event intending to develop<\/strong> a framework of workshops. It currently has 2,435 members including accredited golf tour operators, golf resorts, hotels, <strong>golf courses<\/strong>, airlines, <strong>tourism offices, <\/strong>and <strong>business partners in 90 countries<\/strong>, among other services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objectives of the International Association of Golf Tour Operators<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>IAGTO aims to <strong>develop services and activities that directly benefit members<\/strong>. That is why they are continually developing to optimize standards throughout the golf industry, helping <strong>destinations position themselves to attract more business<\/strong>. They also seek to offer the best possible experience to all golf enthusiasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Golf courses can opt to have <strong>tourism audits with IAGTO <\/strong>to analyze their strengths and weaknesses to attract more visitors. In addition, IAGTO has developed a <strong>Quality Assurance Certification <\/strong>program. The purpose of it is to qualify and identify all those golf facilities that provide the best possible experience for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How many conventions does IAGTO hold?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In total, the International Golf Tour Operators Association <strong>holds three annual conventions<\/strong>: the North American Golf Tourism Convention (NAC), the Asian Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC), and the European<strong> Convention (IEC).<\/strong> These conventions bring together all types of buyers and suppliers. They also <strong>organize annual press <\/strong>and familiarization trips to golf destinations around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2000, IAGTO established the <strong>International Golf Travel Writers Association <\/strong>(IGTWA). The goal of the association is to recognize and <strong>support the work of journalists <\/strong>who enhance the golf industry through their reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The IAGTO Golf Tourism Awards 2023<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With the aim of<strong> rewarding the outstanding achievements of some golf destinations<\/strong>, IAGTO holds the<strong> Golf Tourism Awards<\/strong> each year, along with an Honorary Award. They were established in 2000 and are voted on by golf tour operators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The<strong> IAGTO Golf Destination of the Year 2023 <\/strong>Awards have had Cyprus,<strong> Dubai<\/strong>, Los Cabos, South Carolina, and <strong>Thailand<\/strong> as winners<strong>. The International European Convention 2023 <\/strong>kicks off on<strong> April 24 <\/strong>at 10:00 am and the event concludes on<strong> April 26<\/strong> at 8:00 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Los Naranjos at the International European Convention 2023<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The International European Convention 2023 is known as the IAGTO European Convention (IEC) and <a href=\"https:\/\/losnaranjos.com\/elina-experience\/\">Los Naranjos Golf Club<\/a> is a loyal participant. It has attended the Convention every year consecutively since 2006 and has been one of the protagonists this year. <strong>It was held in Marbella (on the Costa del Sol), <\/strong>which is renowned for its <strong>high-quality golf clubs<\/strong>. Precisely, Los Naranjos is one of these golf courses recognized for the quality of its services. To this end, it featured <strong>pre-scheduled table appointments <\/strong>with two days devoted entirely to <strong>meetings between buyers<\/strong>, suppliers, tourism organizations, and service providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Demand has been so high that <strong>its capacity has increased from 250 to 280 tables, with <\/strong>an emphasis on suppliers who are members of IAGTO from the <strong>European Mediterranean countries<\/strong>. However, it does not lose its open-mindedness to suppliers from the rest of Europe and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>International European Convention 2023 <\/strong>is sponsored by the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation, Costa Navarino, Zest Golf, and Vamoos.
